Wall Street is down severely over recession fears. Stocks plunged as a three-week sell-off intensified over concerns about Trump administration tariffs and the impact on the economy. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones lost 890 points to 41-911. The S&P 500 fell 155 points to 56-14. The Nasdaq plunged 727 points to 17-468.        A federal judge in New York is halting efforts from the Trump administration to deport Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil. ICE agents took Khalil into custody Saturday night saying his student visa had been revoked, but his lawyer says he's here legally with a green card. He has been involved in anti-Israel protests at Columbia University in recent months.        House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies believes Democrats will vote against the spending bill proposed by Republicans. Jeffries said during a Monday news conference the bill is something they could never support. He added the bill does nothing to protect social security, Medicare and Medicaid.        Canada is selecting its next Prime Minister. On Sunday, Canada's Liberal Party announced Mark Carney was elected to succeed Justin Trudeau, who announced his resignation back in January. Carney is credited with helping guide the country through the worst of the 2008 financial crisis while acting as governor of the Bank of Canada.        Hospitals are ready for a significant increase in heart attack-related visits today after most Americans moved the clocks forward for Daylight Saving Time. Although the exact reason isn't clear, experts think the lost hour of sleep plays a big role, disrupting the body's natural rhythm. Some better news: experts say fewer fatal car crashes occur during Daylight Saving Time as the move shifts an hour of daylight to the busier evening traffic hours.        The iHeartPodcast Awards will honor some of the best and most popular shows tonight.
