As a regular part of WOON's local programming, contests are played and the audience is encouraged to participate.
These contests are generally in two categories: "Regular" contests, which are played as part of no special promotion, and "Promotional" contests which are not played year-round but are short-duration promotions.
General Rules for "Regular" contests:
These contests include but are not limited to Trivia, Random numbered phone call, and Simple Audience Response contests.
1.--Winning is limited to once per household per month. This rule does not apply to "Promotional" contests, in as much as if you've won a "Regular" Contest this month, you may also play and win a "Promotional" Contest.
2.--Prizes must be picked up by the winner within a week of winning at the radio station offices, 985 Park Avenue, Woonsocket, RI during regular business hours, 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. If the winner themselves cannot pick up their prize, they may call the office and designate a friend or family member to do so, but that person must also show personal identification. Any prize which will fit in a standard letter envelope can also be postal mailed to a winner by special arrangement, the winner sending us a pre-addressed, stamped, envelope.
Special arrangements can be made by contacting the radio station office during regular business hours, 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday at 985 Park Avenue, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
In case of errors or omissions made in good faith, the decision of station management will be final.

Business of the Day Contest Rules:
O-N Radio asks listeners to listen each weekday between Monday, March 3rd and Monday, May 31st, 2025 as we announce a different "Business of the Day" each day. Contestants that correctly identify all 21 Businesses of the Day will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing that will take place on Friday, April 4th, 2025 for one of three Gift Certificates.
How to Play: Listen to O-N Radio on 99.5 FM, 1240 AM, online at woonsocketradio.com or streaming on your favorite device. O-N Radio will announce a different "Business of the Day" each weekday in March. Contestants will keep track and then send or walk in a completed list of all 21 businesses to O-N Radio before 8am on Friday April 4th, 2025 All lists will be checked for accuracy to make sure each business coincides with the correct day. All correct, eligible entries will complied.
On Friday, April 4th during Coffee An’ from 8-9am, 3 winners will be drawn. The 1st winner drawn will a $100 gift card from the Business of the Day sponsor of their choice. The 2nd winner drawn will win a $75 gift card from the Business of the Day sponsor of their choice; however, winner #2 cannot pick the same business as winner #1. The 3rd winner drawn will win a $50.00 gift card from a Business of the Day Sponsor of their choice but they cannot pick the same businesses as #1 or #2.
O-N Radio will purchase the gift cards and contact the winners so they can pick up their prize.
